How Does the Scrip Commitment Program Work?
You purchase scrip or gift cards at face value. It costs you nothing extra. Ohev Shalom will then credit your account 3% of your total purchase. This credit goes to offset the Scrip Commitment charge on your account. For example, a family would need to purchase $2,000 worth of scrip over the course of the fiscal year to receive the maximum credit of $60. For singles, it is $1,000 per year for a maximum credit of $30. Again, it costs you nothing extra and it is an important, yet easy, fundraiser for Ohev.

We have some scrip available in the office. If you want to purchase grocery cards or CVS, Kohls, Starbucks, and some of our more popular stores, please purchase them directly from the office. Call ahead and we will have them ready for you to pick up. In return, you will be credited 3% of your total purchases to offset the Scrip Commitment charge on your account.
